Graduated from Department of Chemistry, Fudan University, with a Bachelor of Science in chemistry; and has been carrying out teaching and research work in the School of Pharmacy, ZJ CUM from 1986;

Now is a member of the subcommittee of Jiu San (Sept. 3rd) Society, member of the board of Chinese Medical Association Trace Elements Branch, Tier-3 target trainee of “151 Talent Program”, and member of the Jiu San Society Instructive Committee on Education and Culture, in addition to her previous identity as member of the review panel for national science and technology award in 2005 and of the review panel for national 863 scheme subjects and tasks in 2007;

Is mainly engaged in the extraction, separation and analysis of active constituents from Chinese medicine and the development of related products;

Has chaired 2 tasks and 1 task from Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang province and Science Technology Department of Zhejiang Province respectively; as a major player; has participated in the projects and tasks granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China, SATCM “9^thFive-Year Plan” Program for Science and Technology Development, MoE Sci-Tech Research Priority Projects Program, and Young Sci-Tech Talent Training Fund under NSF of Zhejiang Province, one for each, and another 2 projects/tasks granted by NSF of Zhejiang Province; and has chaired or participated in more than 20 provincial department- and bureau-level projects/tasks;

Has filed 2 patent applications;

Has completed the compilation of 14 “11^thFive-Year” Planning Textbooks (of which 2 were completed by her as chief editor, 11 as assistant editor, and 1 as editorial board member);

Has published 30 papers on national and international journals (2 are cited by SCI);

Has won two 3^rdprizes for Zhejiang Sci-Tech Progress, one 2^ndprize for Sci-Tech Progress from Science Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, two 3^rdprizes and one 2^ndprize for Zhejiang Sci-Tech Innovation in the Field of TCM, and one 3^rdprize for Sci-Tech Achievements in Colleges and Universities in Zhejiang Province;

Has trained 10 masters and now is mentoring 6 graduate candidates and assists in mentoring 1 doctoral candidate.
