Graduated from the School of Clinical Medicine, Zhejiang Medical University;

Has long been devoted to clinical and research work;

In the earlier time, worked for and explored the diagnosis and treatment techniques with respect to general surgery and urology, and therefore has accumulated rich experience regarding the treatment of refractory and high-risk diseases in particular; has done hundreds of highly challengeable surgeries includingtotal gastrectomy, pancreatic resection for pancreatic cancer, hepalobectomy, endoscopic resection of bladder cancer, vaporization of the prostate, and radical nephrectomy;

Holds concurrent posts as member of the board of CAIM, president of ZJ AIWCM, vice chair and secretary-general of Zhejiang Association of Sexology standing committee, executive director of ZJMA, associate director of Zhejiang Urology Committee, director of ZJHA Psychiatric Hospital Management Branch, and member of Zhejiang Appraisal Committee for Medical Malpractices, as well as posts like chief editor for Journal of Zhejiang TCM and Health-care Monthly and editorial board member for Zhejiang Medicine and Zhejiang Journal of Clinical Medicine;

Has published more than 20 academic papers and written two books;

Has made remarkable achievements in the clinical research of urological diseases and IWCM, the experimental research of TCM intervention in traumatic shock pathology, and the preparation of honeysuckle injection;

The book “Clinical Experiences of Hundreds of Distinguished Physicians” compiled by him as chief editor contains the experiences of distinguished physicians in recent 50 years, touching upon 16 aspects of TCM, including the generation-by-generation legacy from historic TCM practitioners, clinical practices and apprehensions, exchange of experiences, academic explorations, and medical history. This book contains a large number of academic essences of ancient physicians as well as the learning and knowledge of contemporary practitioners and contributes to some extent the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine.

In terms of the number and quality of masters trained under his supervision, has assisted in training 3 MDs and is mentoring 1 doctoral candidate (both as the second supervisor). Dissertations of all 3 MDs were recognized as excellent dissertations; now one MD is teaching at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, one as department director of 117 Hospital, and 1 as deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
