Graduated from ZJ CMU in 1982 with a bachalor’s degree;

Currently serves as dean of the School of Clinical Medicine-II in ZJ CMU and president of the No.2 Hospital Affilicated to ZJ CMU (i.e. Zhejiang Xinhua Hospital);

Is a Tier-2 talent in accordance with Zhejiang “151” Talent Program;

Holds concurrent posts as executive director of WFCMS Respiration Branch, deputy director of ZJ AIWCM Respiratory Disease Subcommittee (WFCMS: World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies; ZJ AIWCM: Zhejiang Association of Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine), and member of the board of Zhejiang Hospitals Association; and as a member of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party (CPWDP), currently acts as member of CPWDP Zhejiang Branch standing committee;

Is engaged in clinical, teaching and research of integrative western and Chinese respiratory medicine, excels at the treatment of respiratory system diseases with integrative western and Chinese medicine, and has rich clinical experience regarding the treatment of common respiratory system diseases such as chronic cough, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease, lung infections, respiratory failure and lung cancer;

Has undertaken and participated in more than 20 provincial, ministerial, and departmental tasks, and obtained 5 prizes for Zhejiang Sci-Tech Innovation in the Field of TCM;

In recent five years, has published more than 10 papers on national level-I and level-II journals and participated in the editing of 3 monographs;

Has trained 14 masters and now is mentoring 2 doctoral candidates and 4 graduate candidates.
