Graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine;

Between 1990-1991, Took a refresher course as a visiting scholar in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Medical University of Graze, Austria;

From 1999 till now, has been holding posts of director for TCM Surgery Teaching and Research Section of ZJ CMU and director for the Department of Breast Disease of Zhejiang TCM Hospital; is a leader of projects/tasks under National “10^thFive-Year Plan” and “11^thFive-Year Plan” Programs of Important Specialties and Disciplines and a distinguished TCM practitioner in Zhejiang Province;

Holds concurrent posts as executive director for CACM Surgery Subcommittee, deputy director of CACM Breast Disease Prevention and Treatment Subcommittee, associate head of surgery collaborative group and head of mastitis collaborative group under SATCM “11^thFive-Year Plan” Program of Important Specialties/Disciplines;

Has undertaken research projects and tasks, including 4 tasks from Zhejiang Provincial Administration of TCM, 2 tasks from Zhejiang Natural Science Foundation, and 2 tasks under Zhejiang PATCM Important Research Program, and have participated in 1 task from the MoST Supportive Project and 1 task from SATCM Scientific Research Project;

Has published over 40 academic papers on domestic and international journals, including 15 on national journals;

Has completed the compilation of 1 monograph as chief editor and 2 monographs as assistant editor, and participated in the edit of 2 monographs;

The research achievements of these tasks and projects have gained the honorable mention for Zhejiang Government Scientific and Technological Progress, the Zhejiang PATCM Scientific and Technological Progress prize, the Zhejiang Province Natural Science Outstanding Dissertation, and Zhejiang TCM Hospital New Technology and New Project prize;

Has trained over 20 masters and 4 young lecturers and now is mentoring 10 graduate candidates and 1 doctoral candidate.
