CURRICULUM VITAE (University you graduated from, concurrent job, awards and honors, and experience as a postgraduate supervisor) Graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University in 1983 as a bachelor and later gained the Doctor of Medicine from Showa University, Japan in 2000; Currently is vice president of ZJ CMU, leader of “Top Priority” subject (i.e. acupuncture and massage) prepared for colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province, responsible person of national and provincial key TCM specialty (i.e. acupuncture), listed by the Ministry of Health as a young and middle-aged expert with extraordinary contributions, an important person receiving financial grant from provincial “151 Talent Program”, among the first Pacemakers of Ethics of Teaching Profession in Zhejiang Province, and an Accomplished Teacher of Zhejiang Province and a Prestigious Teacher in Higher Education Teaching; Holds concurrent posts as executive director of CAAM (CAAM: China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion) and executive vice president of Acupuncture Association of Zhejiang Province; Is engaged in the teaching, research and clinical work of acupuncture, with a focus on the application of immunology, neurophysiology, molecular biology, and evidence-based medicine to conduct clinical and experimental researches associated with acupuncture analgesia and immune-regulation; Has undertaken 1 task and 1 sub-task respectively from National“973” Planning Program, 4 National Natural Science Fund tasks, and 7 provincial and ministerial tasks, with total research funding approximate to RMB 4.3 million Yuan, whose research achievements helped to win 8 provincial and ministerial prizes; In recent five years, has published 20 dissertations, as chief editor compiled 8 books including “Modern Research of the Role of Acupuncture in Treating Incurable Diseases” and “Manipulation of Acupuncture and Moxibustion”; Has trained 2 MDs and 30 masters and now is mentoring 5 doctoral candidates and 21 graduate candidates |
