Graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University with a bachelor’s degree in 1983 and later gained a Master of Medicine from the same university;

Currently serves as vice president of Ningbo TCM Hospital Affiliated to ZJCMU and has been awarded titles like “Zhejiang Distinguished Physician”, one of “Ningbo First Distinguished Physicians”, academic leader of andrology under “Zhejiang TCM Priority Specialties Construction ” and “Ningbo First Priority TCM Specialties”, and Tier-1 Target Trainee of Ningbo 4321 Talent Program;

Also holds concurrent posts as member of the board of Chinese Medical Association (CMA); deputy director of CMA Andrology Subcommittee; standing member of World Federation of Chinese Medical Societies Andrology Subcommittee; standing member of International TCM Anrology Society Committee; director of Zhejiang Province Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ZJPATCM) Andrology Subcommittee; deputy director of ZJPATCM Surgery Subcommittee; deputy director of Zhejiang Association of Integrative Medicine Urology and Andrology Subcommittee; and director of Ningbo Medical Association Andrology Subcommittee;

Is devoted to the teaching, research and clinical work of surgery and andrology of both Chinese medicine and integrative western-Chinese medicine, but with a focus on the clinical and experimental research of andrological diseases such as male infertility, sexual dysfunction, male climacteric syndrome, and prostate seminal vesicle diseases;

Has chaired 4 tasks funded by Zhejiang Province Chinese Medicine Sci-Tech Fund Scheme and 6 municipal (sub-provincial) tasks, of which research achievements have won two provincial/department prizes and one academic prize for Natural Sciences of Zhejiang Province;

In recent five years, has published more than 20 articles and compiled two monographs as chief editor, including “Guide to Andrological Diagnosis and Treatment” and “Treatment and Self-treatment of Andrological Diseases”; and

Has completed the mentorship to two masters and now is mentoring 3 master students.
