Graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1996 with a doctor’s degree and took up a post-doctoral fellowship program in Zhejiang University between 1996 and 1999;

Now serves as director of the Institute of Cardio-cerebral-vascular Diseases and one of National “New Century Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Program”, of the Young and Middle-aged Specialists with Outstanding contributions in Zhejiang Province, of Tier-1 and Important Talents of Zhejiang New Century 151 Talent Program, of Zhejiang 1^stHigh-level Innovative Talents in the Field of Medicine and Health, of SATCM Priority Subject Leaders of Clinical Foundation of Chinese Medicine, and of Zhejiang Priority Subject Leaders of Cerebropathy of Integrative Medicine, as well as standing director of Zhejiang Postdoctoral Fellows Association, deputy director of China Association of Chinese Medicine Chinese (CACM) Medicine Preparations Subcommittee, member of CACM Young and Middle-aged Sci-Tech Innovative Specialists Subcommittee, member of Zhejiang Association of Integrative Medicine Neurology Subcommittee, and member of Zhejiang Gerontological Society Geriatrics Subcommittee;

Is engaged in clinical, research and teaching management work of Chinese medicine;

Has chaired a number of tasks and projects granted by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and gained 7 ministerial/provincial prizes of sci-tech as project leader, including two 1^stprize of the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province for Sci-Tech Progress and one 1^stprize of CACM Sci-Tech Progress;

Has published more than 110 academic articles on national influential journals as well as journals cited by SCI;

Main Research Directions: Clinical and experimental research of preventing and treating cardio-cerebral-vascular diseases with Chinese medicine and Separation, analysis and research of active substances in Chinese medicine;

Has trained 10 doctors and 26 masters.
