Guangji ZHANG, male, doctor of medicine, professor, and doctoral supervisor;

Graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medical College in 1987 and now serves as vice president of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University;

Is one of Zhejiang Colleges and Universities Young and Middle-aged Subject Leaders, a Tier-2 Target Trainee of Zhejiang New Century 151 Talent Program, and a member of Zhejiang Medical Association Specialist Bank for Malpractice Technical Appraisement and of the peer review panel for National Natural Science Foundation of China;

Has completed a dozen of research tasks, all of which have passed the appraisement, and now is carrying out another five tasks;

Has published nearly 50 academic articles and 5 monographs, of which three researches, including “Experimental Research of Tengchan Formula Against Cancer”, “Research ofArtemisia Anomalas as An Ingredient of Tea Pack to Relieve Summer-heat and Help Digestion”, and “Study of the Evolution of Causes of Diseases in TCM”, were awarded the 3^rdprizes of the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province for Sci-Tech Progress, and the monograph “Exploration of Causa Morbi in Chinese Medicine” gained the Academic Book Award of China Medical Association (commissioned by SATCM);

As an instructor mainly for the specialty “Basic Theories of Chinese Medicine” and the research direction “Causa Morbi and Pathogenesis of Chinese Medicine”, has given and is giving courses to 9 master’s degree programs, of which master students of 7 programs have graduated;

Now is a doctoral supervisor for two doctoral candidates who take “Chinese Medicine” as their specialty and “TheLaw of Chinese Medicine Classic Theories and Their Inheritance” as their research direction.
