Graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree and gained the master’s degree from Tianjin Chinese Medical University in 1990;

Now serves as chief physician of the Department of Chinese Medicine in Zhejiang Integrative Western-Chinese Medicine Hospital and president of The No.7 People’s Hospital of Hangzhou; and is also a subject leader of SATCM Infectious Diseases Clinical Base (for research direction of hepatopathy), Target Trainee of both Zhejiang 151 Talent Program and Hangzhou 131 Talent Program, and Distinguished Chinese Medicine Physician of Hangzhou;

In the meantime holds concurrent posts as executive director of China CDC Psychiatric Executive Committee, standing member of China Association of Integrative MedicinePsychiatrics Subcommittee, director of Zhejiang Medical Association Behavioral medicine Subcommittee (under Preparation), deputy director of Zhejiang Association of Integrative Medicine Hepatopathy Subcommittee, deputy director of Zhejiang Province Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Spleen and Stomach Diseases Subcommittee, executive director of Zhejiang Association for Mental Health, member of Zhejiang Medical Professions Senior Title Evaluation Committee, and editorial board member for the Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine;

In recent three years, has undertaken or completed a number of tasks and projects, including: one from SATCM, one from Science Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, two from Science Technology Bureau of Hangzhou, two from Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and one priority project from Health Bureau of Hangzhou;

Has won the Zhejiang Sci-Tech Innovation Award in Chinese Medicine and Hangzhou Sci-Tech Progress Award;

Has published 8 articles as the first or corresponding author, of which 3 were cited by SCI and 2 were cited by Level-1 journals, in addition to one academic work as chief editor;

In recent years, has carried out researches regarding the connection between chronic liver diseases and emotional disorders;

Has completed the mentorship to 9 masters and now is mentoring 4 graduate candidates.
