Graduated from the Department of Integrative Chinese Western Medicine, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1990 with a master’s degree in cardiovascular specialty;

Now serves as director of the Cardiology Department of Hangzhou TCMP Hospital and enjoys the title of Distinguished Chinese Medicine Physician of Zhejian Province;

Holds concurrent posts as member of China Association of Integrative Medicine Cardiovascular Subcommittee, member of China Medical Doctor Association Cardiovascular Medicine Physicians Subcommittee, director of Zhejiang Association of Integrative Medicine (ZJAIM) Cardiovascular Subcommittee, deputy director of ZJAIM Rehabilitation and Health Care Subcommittee, deputy director of Hangzhou Medical Association Cardiovascular Subcommittee, and member of the board of Hangzhou Association of Integrative Medicine (HZAIM) and of HZAIM Specialist Committee;

Is engaged in the teaching, research and clinical work of preventing and treating cardio-cerebral-vascular diseases with Chinese medicine, with an emphasis on the application of methods, like molecular biology and evidence-based medicine, to carry out researches with respect to the prevention and treatment of cardio-cerebral-vascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, viral myocarditis, vertebrobasilar insufficiency, and cerebral infarction with Chinese medicine and TCM drugs;

Has chaired a number of tasks and sub-tasks including one sub-task funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, one by CAIM Scientific Research Foundation, one by Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang, one by Science Technology Bureau of Hangzhou, two by Zhejiang Provincial Administration of TCM, and 3 by Health Bureau of Hangzhou, which gained 8 provincial and/or departmental prizes for sci-tech achievement;

In recent five years, has published more than 20 articles and participated in the compilation of 2 monographs;

Has completed the mentorship to 3 doctors and over 20 masters.
