As well as a member on the Year-2010 list of the 1^stCounty-level Leading Medical Disciplines/Subjects Expert Instructive Teams of Zhejiang Province published by the Health Department of Zhejiang Province, advanced individual of Zhejiang Chinese Medical Univesity for sci-tech work during the “11^thFive-Year Plan” period, and winner of Chinese Star of Science and Technology in Chinese Medicine in 2011;

Has been engaged in orthopedics and traumatology for nearly 30 years since 1983 and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and minimally invasive procedure of osteonecrosis, osteoarthritis, cervical spondylosis, and lumbar disc herniation in a way of Chinese integrative medicine, with a number of technologies taking national lead;

Has undertaken dozens of research tasks and projects from National Natural Foundation of China, MoE Doctoral Program Fund, Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and the Science Technology Department of Zhejiang Province, for which he has gained 5 prizes of Zhejiang People’s Government for Sci-Tech Progress and 10 prizes for Zhejiang Sci-Tech Progress in the Field of Medicine;

Has published more than 150 academic articles at home and abroad, of which 6 are cited by SIC; and

Has compiled 7 monographs as chief editor and/or assistant editor.
