CURRICULUM VITAE(University you graduated from, concurrent job, awards and honors, and experience as a postgraduate supervisor) Graduated from Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University in 1989 as a bachelor and later gained the Master of Medicine (Acupuncture) in 1995 and Doctor of Medicine (Chinese Internal Medicine) in 2008; Currently serves as deputy dean of the School of Clinical Medicine - III, ZJ CMU and vice president of No.3 Hospital affiliated to ZJ CMU (i.e. Zhongshan Hospital), leader of the backup subject in Zhejiang “Top Priority” Subject (acupuncture and massage) Program, and listed among the first young and middle-aged accomplished clinical TCM physicians in Zhejiang Province; Holds concurrent posts as member of CAAM Meridians and Acupuncture Points Subcommittee, member of CACM Collateral Disease Subcommittee, deputy director and secretary-general of ZJPTCM Collateral Disease Subcommittee, and member of ZJPCIM Neurology Subcommittee; (CAAM: China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion; CACM: China Association of Chinese Medicine; ZJPTCM: Zhejiang Province Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine; ZJPCIM Zhejiang Province Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine) Has long been engaged in teaching, medical treatment and research of clinical acupuncture, with a focus on the application of neural physiology, pathology and molecular biology to conduct clinical and experimental application studies associated with acupuncture therapy for encephalopathy and peripheral nerve disorder diseases; Has undertaken 1 National “973” Planning Program task, 2 provincial and ministerial scientific and technological tasks, and 5 departmental tasks, and participated in 4 national, provincial and ministerial tasks from National “973” Planning Program and National Natural Science Fund, achievements of which were conferred on 1 Zhejiang TCM Science and Technology Award; Has published 25 dissertations and 3 works, and be an associate editor of the national “12thFive-year Planning” textbook “Acupuncture Therapy”; For basic research, majors in the study of effects of TCM/acupuncture on blood-brain barrier and its application; for clinical research, specializes in applying TCM/acupuncture to treat cerebral vascular disease, a variety of neuropathic pains, migraines, motor neuron diseases, headache and dizziness caused by cervical lesions, diabetes and peripheral neuropathy; Has trained 4 masters and now is mentoring 10 graduate candidates. |
