CURRICULUM VITAE(University you graduated from, concurrent job, awards and honors, and experience as a postgraduate supervisor) Professor and Director of Acupuncture and Neurobiology Research Lab in the School of Clinical Medicine - III, ZJ CMU 1986.8 - 1989.7: Graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine with a master degree in acupuncture and massage; 2001.8 – 2004.7: Graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with a doctor’s degree in acupuncture and massage; 1989.8 – 2001.8: Served as lecturer, associate professor, vice-dean, professor, and dean successively in the Department of Acupuncture and Massage, Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; 2004.8 - present: Serves as professor and director of Acupuncture and Neurobiology Research Lab in the School of Clinical Medicine - III, ZJ CMU Meanwhile, holds concurrent posts as member of CAAM Clinic Subcommittee and of CAAM Clinical Rehabilitation Subcommittee, and director of ZJAAM Experimental Acupuncture Subcommittee (CAAM: China Association for Acupuncture and Moxibustion; ZJAAM: Zhejiang Association of Acupuncture- Moxibustion); Specializes in acupuncture and neurobiology teaching, integrative western and Chinese clinical medicine, and clinical and basic research associated with the application of acupuncture therapy in preventing and treating central nervous system disorders; Has mentored more than 20 masters majoring in acupuncture and assisted in mentoring 4 MDs; Has undertaken and participated in over 20 tasks granted from scientific research funds, including national major basic research projects (e.g. “973” program), and obtained the first prize of National MoE Science and Technology Award and another more than 10 provincial and ministerial prizes for his teaching and research achievements; Has published more than 100 research reports and dissertations, accomplished the edit and compilation of 5 academic monographs as a chief editor, participated in the edit and compilation of 3 national textbooks and over 20 academic monographs; Used to be awarded titles including “National Outstanding Young TCM Physician” in 1994, “Accomplished Teacher in Gansu Province” in 1995, “National Accomplished Teacher” in 2001, and “Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader in Colleges and Universities in Zhejiang Province” in 2007; Has trained 16 masters and now is mentoring 2 doctoral candidates and 15 graduate candidates. |
