Department of Social Sciences consists of three faculty offices, for Sinicization of Marxism, basic principle of Marxism and ideological education respectively, and five curricular groups. Currently it has 19 full-time teaching and administrative employees, of which 2 are professors, 4 are associate professors and 6 are teachers with a doctorate degree. Annually, the school usually takes on more than 6000 class hours of postgraduate and undergraduate education as well as self-study education. The Maoism and general theoretical structure of the Chinese Characteristic Socialism are listed as province-level high-quality courses, and the ideological and moral cultivation and fundamental law are university-level high-quality courses. The school has developed an innovative team working on the Sinicization of Marxism. At the moment, one of the teachers of the school is chosen to travel to America to attend the intellectual property specialized talent training class and two are partaking in the grassroots-level help, service and investigation program for the core teachers of ideological and political theory organized by the publicity department of the provincial party committee and the provincial education affairs committee.
