Changyu LI, professor and doctoral supervisor, graduated from ZJ CMU with a bachelor’s degree and gained the Master of Medicine from the same university in July 1990;

Currently serves as director of Office of Academic Affairs and is a Tier-1 Target Trainee of Zhejiang “151” Talent Program and one among Young and Middle-aged Leaders of Zhejiang College and University Specialties/Disciplines;

Holds concurrent posts as member of the board of and deputy secretary of Zhejiang Pharmacological Association, member of the board of Zhejiang Province Association of Integrative Western and Chinese Medicine, and deputy director of ZJP AIWCM Clinical Medicine Subcommittee and ZJP AIWCM Health Rehabilitation Subcommittee respectively, and editorial board member for journals such as Chinese Journal of Pharmacovigilance and Chinese Journal of Experimental Traditional Medical Formulae;

Focuses on researches of the pharmacology of Chinese medicine in terms of neurology and the development of new products, and has a wealth of experience regarding the anti-dementia and anti-depression effects of Chinese medicines;

In recent years, has chaired a dozen of national, provincial, and ministerial tasks; in particular two NSFC projects have been granted successively in recent three years, which explore the molecular mechanism of kidney invigoration formula in regulating body-fluid metabolism in nephrasthenia syndrome from the perspective of aquaporin and provide a reach idea for in-depth study of modern biological nature of the concept “kidney controlling the body-fluid metabolism”;

Has published more than 30 papers and written 5 monographs as a co-author, and hold the post of editorial board member for a number of textbooks such as Pharmacology;

Has trained 23 masters and is now mentoring 2 doctoral candidate and 9 graduate candidates;
