As a chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor, graduated from School of Clinical Medicine, Wenzhou Medical University and currently serves as vice president (business) of Zhejiang TCM Hospital and director of Surgery Teaching and Research Session of ZJ CMU School of Clinical Medicine –I;

Holds concurrent posts as member of CAIM General Surgery Subcommittee, deputy director of ZJ AIWCM General Surgery Subcommittee, standing committee member of ZJMA Surgery Branch,ZJMASurgicalOncologyBranch and ZJMA Minimally Invasive Surgery Branch respectively, and deputy chair of ZACA Colon Cancer Subcommittee;

Has been engaged in general surgery for over 30 years; is capable of handling a variety of rare, refractory and critically ill patients admitted into the department of general surgery and doing type-III and type-IV surgeries; has unique insights with respect to the treatment of a variety of rare andrefractory complications, in particular the laparoscopic surgery (minimally invasive surgery) featured gastrointestinal tumor integrated treatment; and as a pioneer of using micro-laparoscopic technique for surgeries in Zhejiang, has accumulated rich experience in laparoscopic surgeries.

Over the past 10 years, has completed accumulatively nearly ten thousands of laparoscopic surgeries;

In 2007, was the first one to propose the construction of the Department of Quick Rehabilitation Surgery in Combination with Integrative Western-Chinese Medicine and the concept of multi-organ rehabilitation assisted by integrative western-Chinese medicine, in which means like TCM and acupuncture are to be deployed to various stages of surgical diagnosis and treatment; these proposals were later implemented first in the geratic surgery and now is in the lead nationwide.

In the meantime, taking postoperative gastrointestinal rehabilitation as the breakthrough point, has chaired two national tasks from National Natural Science Foundation of China and MoST “11^THFive-Year Plan” Support Program and another dozen of other provincial and ministerial tasks;

Has published over 10 papers on the level-1 and level-2 journals as first author;

Has trained more than 20 masters and now is mentoring 2 doctoral candidates.
