Graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine with a master’s degree; gained the doctoral degree from Harbin Institute of Technology; and later completed the postdoctoral fellowship program in Shanghai Second Medical University;

Currently serves as director of the No.2 Ward of Orthopedics, of the Teaching and Researching Section of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of Integrative Western-Chinese Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine –II, ZJ CMU, and of the Immunohistochemistry Lab of Zhejiang Institute of Traumatology-Orthopaedics and TCM respectively, as well as chief physician, professor, and doctoral supervisor;

Holds concurrent posts as member of China Association of Integrative Medicine Traumatology and Orthopaedics Subcommittee, standing member of Gerontological Society of China Osteoporosis Subcommittee, member of Zhejiang Province Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine Traumatology and Orthopaedics Subcommittee, standing member of Zhejiang Medical Association Osteoporosis Subcommittee, and member of National Distiguished Physicians Council;

Participated in the formulation of “Guidelines to the Treatment ofO steoporotic Fracture” in 2008 and the formulation of “Guidelines to the Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism After Major Orthopedic Surgery” in 2009, both initiated and organized by Chinese Orthopaedics Subcommittee of Chinese Medical Association;

Was retained as director of China Special Medical Skills Professional Committee and standing member of Zhejiang Province Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Traumatology and Orthopaedics Subcommittee both in 2011;
